“Indian Ink”: My FT Review

The Financial Times has posted my review of “Indian Ink,” Tom Stoppard‘s 1995 play at the Roundabout’s off-Broadway space, in New York. Romola Garai (pictured) stars. Bottom line: ‘This is an expertly staged, sensitively acted, and visually mediocre production.’ Further: ‘Two decades on, “Indian Ink” stands more firmly on its merits. It may lack the spell-casting exhaustiveness of “The Jewel in the Crown” and the eerie nuances of “A Passage to India” (the latter is referenced), but it is, all the same, a beautifully stitched piece of work.’ If you are in New York, grab tickets!
