“Mockingbird” In London: Why Not NY?
Following two immensely successful runs at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, “To Kill a Mockingbird” will return to London from 24th June until 25th July 2015 at the Barbican, at the end of the forthcoming UK tour. Robert Sean Leonard will reprise the role of Atticus Finch. So why does this production receive so many high-profile outings in London but the play has never been seen on Broadway? Do we have to wait until Harper Lee dies before this happens? Really?
