British Media: Surprisingly Kind To Amis
The British media love to rip apart writer Martin Amis, pictured at home in Brooklyn. But perhaps the bloodlust has got tiresome: reviews for Amis’s new novel, “The Zone of Interest,” are rather kind. The Guardian says that Amis ‘interweaves a Nazi middle-management farce with the agonising story of a camp inmate in a searching, striking novel.’ The book will be published in the U.S. on September 30th.
