Tabloids Trying To Trash Angelina Jolie
The tabloids are trying to ramp up this story: Convicted drug dealer Franklin Meyer talking about the 16-minute footage he shot of Angelina Jolie, in 1999, with her consent, after she called him round to her Manhattan home to re-supply her with heroin and cocaine. Jolie has since described it as a ‘dark’ period of her life which she was lucky to survive. That the footage exists is not news at all, and its resurfacing is just the trashy attempt of the rags to denigrate Jolie. Meanwhile, the actress’s latest movie, “Maleficent,” is a huge hit worldwide, and her humanitarian work is unceasing. She is an admirable heroine of recovery.
