Joan Rivers Coming To Broadway?
Buried in that Joan Rivers’ CNN interview the other day — you know, the one that landed her in hot water for walking off midway — was Joan’s mentioning that she is returning to Broadway. No word in what. Probably some version of the autobiographical act that she’s been doing here and there over the years. Another possibility: second replacement for Neil Patrick Harris in “Hedwig” (Joan has certainly been surgically chopped up as much as Hedwig). Also I’m hearing that Joan will star in “Mame.” Oh, sure, and I’m a male Supreme Court justice who respects women.
