“Thrones” To Feature Dorne, And Queen Elizabeth To Visit The Show’s Set In Belfast
The upcoming season of the hit HBO drama will be filming in Spain so it was fair to deduce that the show would be set partly in Dorne, one of the nine regions of the Seven Kingdoms and the birthplace of Prince Oberyn Martell, played by Pedro Pascal, pictured, who’s currently appearing in “Much Ado About Nothing” in Central Park. “GoT” showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have confirmed the Borne news. In related matters, Buckingham Palace tweeted today that Her Majesty and Her Consort Known As Philip will pay a visit to the “Game of Thrones” set in Belfast, Northern Ireland. If the Queen were a character on the program, there would be no contest for power: she’s never going to relinquish the reign!
