Not Since “Carrie”: A “True Blood” Musical?
“Carrie” set the standard for use of blood (pig’s blood, no less) on a Broadway stage. But this project could rival it. “True Blood” is winding up its TV tales of sexually-charged vampires, with the final season beginning on Sunday. But it may be poised to live eternally – or at least as long as audiences enjoy Gothic love songs – on the stage as a musical.
