He Can’t Stop Listening To Johnny Cash


A Dutch man has a sudden urge to listen to country singer Johnny Cash (pictured) following a pattern of localized electrical pulses to his brain. A case study in the journal Frontiers in Behavioural Neuroscience describes how “Mr B,” a married man with a very severe form of obsessive compulsive disorder, developed the urge to listen to the country singer while receiving a form of treatment called deep brain stimulation.
