He topped Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp. But the most interesting name on this Top Ten list, compiled by Wealth X, at least for Americans unfamiliar with him, is Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan (pictured). He earned $40 million last year, and has a personal fortune estimated at $550 million. Khan has starred in over 50 Hindi films over his glittering 20-year career, co-owns the Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders, and has his own successful production company.
