The real reason to tune in is for The Roots, the house band. The Roots’ new album, “…And Then You Shoot Your Cousin,” is out next week via Def Jam. The album can be streamed via Pitchfork Advance until May 18. “…And Then You Shoot Your Cousin” takes its title from a lyric in KRS-One’s “Step Into a World (Rapture’s Delight).” It was produced by ?uestlove, Black Thought, and Richard Nichols, with help from others.
