Arcade Fire Cover “Dust In The Wind”
During their tour, Arcade Fire have covered Prince, Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men, Constantines, and Blondie. Last night, they helped a Kansas City crowd face their mortality with a tender, quiet 1977 classic: Kansas’ “Dust in the Wind.” Win Butler came on stage and said, “Guys, that was really beautiful, but that’s a Kansas song and we’re in fuckin’ Missouri, you fucked up. … That’s gonna kill when we play Lawrence, though.”
