Joan Jett, St. Vincent Salute Nirvana
Looks like Nirvana’s Rock Hall tribute the other night went on longer than expected. As Brooklyn Vegan reports, the new inductees followed up their Barclays Center performance with a secret show over at Saint Vitus, the tiny Greenpoint metal club (capacity 350, Billboard estimates). The encore featured Rock Hall performers Joan Jett, St. Vincent, and Kim Gordon (no sign of Lorde), plus J. Mascis and Deer Tick’s John McCauley. Now, footage of the secret show is surfacing on YouTube.
