Rihanna, Eminem To Do MTV Awards
After a long flirtation, LemonWade dropped Rihanna about a year ago: she had gotten too trashy. But I do rather like her latest single with Eminem, “The Monster.” So I will probably watch the duo perform the song at this Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards. Eminem and Rihanna are no strangers to the MTV event, having performed previously (Eminem in 2009 and Rihanna with Jay Z in 2007). Eminem also was a part of one of the awards show’s most memorable moments when a little-clothed Sacha Baron Cohen, as his alter ego Bruno, dropped down from the rafters and onto the rapper. The duo’s six-date, three-city The Monster Tour kicks off Aug. 7 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena before wrapping up Aug. 23 at Comerica Park in Detroit, Eminem’s hometown.
