Meryl Streep To Play Rocker Chick
If it were anyone but Meryl Streep signing on to play an aging rocker chick in “Ricki and the Flash,” I would be tempted to snark, “Is this a mid-life crisis?” But Streep can make something musical out of the thinnest of reeds. And I doubt this is thin stuff: the movie has a script by Diablo Cody, who won an Oscar for writing “Juno,” and will be directed by Jonathan Demme.
