Kim K. Isn’t Cool, But These Women Are
My old boss Tina Brown issues forth an opinion on the non-troversy of Miss Kim Kardashian appearing on the cover of Vogue. Tina pooh-poohs the notion that a magazine cover means much any more: “The cover of Vogue is not exactly the Nobel Peace Prize, and Kim Kardashian isn’t exactly Pol Pot.” Tina goes on to promote her annual Women of the World conference, and the heaps of “cool” women who show up there.
