“50 Shades” Looks Mighty Tame
A lot of people online are bitching that early footage of the film of EL James‘ bestselling “50 Shades” books has disappointed, with the S&M toned down in favor of romance. Well, what were people expecting? To film those sex scenes would have meant an NC-17 rating, which would kill the movie’s prospects at the box office. Better to film it correctly and let people watch it online. Why didn’t Netflix snap this up way back when?
