Adele Nazeem Starring On Broadway
The producers of “If/Then,” a new Broadway musical, were understandably eager to cash in on the publicity garnered by their star, Idina Menzel, on Oscar night. So for the invited dress rehearsal of their show last night they put an insert in the Playbill: the lead role would be played by Idina’s alter ego, Adele Dazeem. I’m not sure that Adele will return for tonight’s first preview: stay tuned. In related news, Carly Sakolove has posted a parody of Travolta’s flub, sung to the tune of “Let It Go.” (You expected “Happy”?)
