John Mayer Splits With Katy Perry
John Mayer is the Artie Shaw of our time. Who dat? you ask. Shaw was an American clarinettist, composer, and bandleader of 1930s and 40s, but he reigns in pop-culture history as the husband of Lana Turner and Ava Gardner (as well as six other women). Shaw was a perfectly nice-looking man but nothing sizzling. Same can be said for Mayer, a cute, now-slightly-plump singer who we learn today has split from Katy Perry. Mayer’s previous girlfriends have included Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, and Taylor Swift. Celeb women are desperate for a celeb man, I guess. And Mayer is a serial divagamist.
