Movies: If you still have a thing for Kevin Costner, see him in the spy story “3 Days To Kill.” If you still long for semi-retired Elaine Stritch, go see “Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me.” Television: Don’t miss Sting performing songs from his new musical, “The Last Ship,” on Friday. “Downton Abbey” wraps its fourth season on Sunday. I still enjoy it in spite of the banalities and the program’s naysayers, who are more numerous this year. Music: Beck’s new CD, “Morning Phase,” is worth your attention. I’ve been listening to this cut frequently. Books: The upcoming Angelina Jolie movie version has revived interest in Lauren Hillenbrand’s “Unbroken.” Sports: Still maintaining my perfect record of boycotting the Olympics. Will I weaken on Sunday? Maybe if the U.S. makes the final in men’s hockey. Finally: I know that March can be lionish, but I’m starting to feel that the worst of the winter weather is behind us.
