“Pompeii” Is “Gloriously Exciting Kitsch”
New York mag’s article makes me more interested in this new movie than I thought I’d be: ‘More fun than any civilization’s fiery extinction should ever be, Paul W.S. Anderson’s “Pompeii 3-D” is gloriously exciting kitsch – a poor man’s “Titanic” crossed with an even poorer man’s “Gladiator.”‘ The star is Kit Harrington, known to most of us as Jon Snow on “Game of Thrones” — you know, one of the characters who eventually gets killed off and if that was a spoiler than why don’t you become a literate person and read the books?
