How To Honor Philip Seymour Hoffman
A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends Feb. 7 in New York City. It’s reportedly to take place in a location on the Upper East Side. A memorial is also being planned for later this month, to be held in Gotham as well. The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the DreamYard Project and the Dana Reeve Foundation, two charities that “were very close to his heart.†Edward Norton has also organized a crowdfunding website for the Labyrinth Theater Company, an Off-Broadway company in New York that Hoffman was a member of for the past 20 years.
