Google Glass To Be Banned From Theatres

Google Glass, which goes on sale later in the year, will potentially enhance our culinary skills, cycling trips, and sex lives, and there have even been concerns about its potential for surveillance. Now, American cinema chain AMC has deemed that Google Glass, the eyewear that can record video and photography, is “not appropriate” for use in cinemas, following an incident in which homeland security officers interrogated a Glass wearer during a screening of “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.” Well, good luck trying to get moviegoers to stop using their device while watching a film. That will be about as likely as getting moviegoers to stop using their smartphones while watching a film. Not gonna happen!
