Television: On Friday, PBS has a Richard Tucker opera celebration. On Sunday, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler host the Golden Globes. On HBO, “Girls” returns and “True Detective” premieres. Music: It’s time for you to catch up to the soundtrack for “Frozen.” Books: We were always told what a good Secretary of Defense that Robert Gates was, but I never bought it. His new book settles some scores. Sports: So many football games lately have had exciting finishes, I’m starting to wonder if the fix is in. And in hell-has-frozen-over news, the Knicks just beat the Heat. Finally: I hope I survive the rest of the winter. You?
