Guitarists Leaving Allman Brothers Band
It’s never too late to try something new. Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks, among the best guitarists in the world, say they will depart The Allman Brothers Band after this year, the group’s 45th, to concentrate on their own projects. Haynes and Trucks, who have been performing with Gregg Allman for the past 25 and 15 years, respectively, announced late Wednesday that this year will be their last with the iconic jam band.
