Walkmen To Reunite For NBA Bash
The Walkmen announced an indefinite hiatus back in November, and in December, performed one final show. In February, at long last, they’re making their triumphant return to the stage. They’ll play the Rock On Foundation’s first Alt-Star Party during NBA All-Star Weekend. The show takes place at One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans on February 15. It’s being thrown by the San Antonio Spurs’ Matt Bonner. “We thought it might take a lifetime to get us back together—til the Alt-Star Party gave us the nod. How could we stay on the bench? We’re coming 110%. Full-court press. Man to man. Rock n Roll, Pick n Roll,” said Walkmen frontman Hamilton Leithauser in a statement.
