Music: I like the folky soundtrack for “Inside Llewyn Davis,” produced by T Bone Burnett, better than I liked the movie. Books: Last year I spent the month of January re-reading Proust. Sports: I’m trying to get my fill of figure skating this month, so I won’t weaken and watch it at next month’s Sochi Games, which I aim to avoid.
