Nirvana, Ronstadt Chosen For Hall Of Fame
Of the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of inductees announced today, my favorites are Nirvana and Linda Ronstadt. (Other inductees include Peter Gabriel, Kiss, Hall and Oates, and Cat Stevens.) The induction ceremony will take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on April 10. It will be open to the public; tickets go on sale in January. The event will air on HBO in May. Among those rejected today were LL Cool J, Chic, and Yes.
