Flaming Lips Cover Sparklehorse
“Last Box of Sparklers” is an in-the-works tribute album honoring Sparklehorse and the late Mark Linkous, currently raising money on Indiegogo. It’s being organized by the non-profit Box of Stars, which focuses on increasing mental health awareness. Alongside Mark Lanegan, Mercury Rev, Califone, Joy Formidable, Phantogram, and more, Flaming Lips have contributed a song. They covered “Sad and Beautiful World”.
