Television: Sunday-Night Scorecard
The Good Wife: The new Irish rogue lawyer is already on my nerves, but the episode brought the focus back to Will and Alicia’s love and hate for each other. And Kalinda is sleeping with women again. But why no airtime for Cary? Grade: B+. Treme: I’m a Steve Zahn fan, but his music-purist character on this show is beaucoup annoying. Still, it was good to have the series and its music, especially Trombone Shorty (pictured), back for a final run of episodes. There’s no place like New Orleans! Grade: A-. Homeland: Brody’s mission to cross the border into Iran doesn’t go smoothly; Carrie and Saul try to keep the op in play from home. The episode was a faltering from last week — very uneven. Grade: C+. The Walking Dead: What can I say about this mid-season finale other than: casualties galore. Insane! Grade: A.
