“American Hustle” Not A Best Picture
So David O. Russell‘s “American Hustle” has been screened for some press and it turns out not to be a serious Best Picture contender. But Christian Bale is good and Jennifer Lawrence (pictured) is terrific and the movie is at least as entertaining as Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” which is just dandy with me. In case you haven’t noticed, Miss Lawrence is the biggest star in Hollywood at the moment. Love huh.
