Kerry Washington On “Lesbian Rumors”
Is this supposed to count as “enlightened”? “Scandal” star Kerry Washington, who is hosting “Saturday Night Live” this weekend (and who needs a lesson in how to apply lip liner), told The Advocate she’s not worried about the lesbian rumors that persist despite the fact that she’s married and expecting her first child with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha. “It’s interesting how much people long to fill in the gaps when someone in the public eye doesn’t share their personal life,†the 36-year-old actress said. “But I’ve never been bothered by the lesbian rumor. There’s nothing offensive about it, so there’s no reason to be offended.â€
