Leo: A 40-Year-Old Party Boy
Excuse me: When “The Wolf of Wall Street” is released on Christmas Day, its star, Leonardo DiCaprio, will only be 39. Still, there’s something a little worrisome about the fact that at this age he’s still a party boy. At least he is onscreen: both his movies in 2013 — the other is “The Great Gatsby” — find him portraying aging revelers. If he ever wants to win an Oscar — he’s been nommed three times and is on his way to being one of the great also-rans, like Peter O’Toole and Richard Burton — he’s going to have to find more grown-up roles. He’s a first-rate actor, and he deserves them.
