Time Warner Cable Restores Ovation
My cable provider, Time Warner Cable, has decided to restore the Ovation network. I rarely watch Ovation, and its miniscule numbers may be why it got dropped. But the network is ramping up its offerings, including U.S. rights to the scripted series “A Young Doctor’s Notebook,” starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. Ovation also won a deal to carry “The Fashion Fund,” a reality series in conjunction with Vogue, the fiefdom presided over by Anna Wintour (pictured). But as the six-episode “Fashion Fund” begins November 12 and TWC doesn’t restore Ovation until January, some of us will have to forego the program’s pleasures.
