“You Never Can Tell”: Final Week
It is the final week for The Pearl Theatre Company‘s production of Bernard Shaw’s “You Never Can Tell.” Directed by David Staller, the force behind New York’s invaluable Project Shaw, the play takes place at the turn of the 20th century. A world-famous author and her grown children have returned to England after 18 years abroad. But when her missing husband (who may also be the missing father) appears out of the blue, complications ensue. Under Staller’s assured direction, a first-rate ensemble, including Amelia Pedlow and Sean McNall (pictured), brings the story to life.
