New Talk Show For Miss Mo’Nique?
Just the other day, LW Oscar obsessive Rex Okpodu and I were wondering whatever the hell happened to Mo’Nique. She did, after all, win an Oscar a few years back for “Precious.” A new report says she may have a syndicated talk show coming to ABC next year. I caught hew previous talk show — the one she did for BET from 2009 to 2011. I thought Mo’Nique was appealing in the format: a lot more appealing than in her stand-up, which in the past has been so filthy that even I, hardly a prude, couldn’t stomach it.
