Ethan Coen’s New Play: My FT Review
The Financial Times has posted my review of “Women or Nothing,” a new play by Ethan Coen at the Atlantic Theater, off-Broadway. Susan Pourfar and Halley Feiffer (pictured) are the main characters. Bottom line: Coen ‘has concocted a witty entertainment that works like a self-consciously literate sitcom. Theatre allows him the kind of well-mannered artifice in dialogue that would seem preposterous in a contemporary setting on screen.’
