Dear Leo: This Isn’t Oscar Bait
Warner Bros. has picked up feature rights to A. Scott Berg’s new “Wilson†biography and set it up as a potential starring vehicle for Leonardo DiCaprio. Why Leo wants to do this picture is beyond me. Wilson was a progressive, but hardly admirable when it came to racial matters. And the story has no great death scene: Wilson has a stroke and his second wife, Edith, essentially runs the White House.
