Elton John: I Was A Monster
“When I was on drugs there was a monstrous side to me.” So says Elton John about his behavior years ago when he was using. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel I’ve been reading this same interview about his non-sober days for at least 15 years now. Elton’s new CD, “The Diving Board,” out this week, is getting some good buzz, so maybe the interview retreads are the price we pay for his music.
