More Houdini On The Way
I’ve already told you that the new musical about Houdini is having a workshop in December preliminary to a hoped-for spring 2014 bow on Broadway. Hugh Jackman is headlining the workshop. Now comes word that the History Channel has ordered a four-hour miniseries about the famed magician and his wife. Star is Adrien Brody (pictured). What’s with all the tall (Brody is 6’1″, Jackman 6’2″) actors playing the short (5’6″) Houdini?
