Sports: I’m so tired of the summer slowdown in pro athletics that I’m looking forward to Sunday night’s Hall of Fame game between Dallas and Miami. Music: So great that veteran Buddy Guy’s new CD, “Rhythm & Blues, is a best-seller. Books: I’ve been rereading the poetry of Robert Frost. Stark yet consoling, it repays close attention. Finally: There are members of my family who start school in a week. Didn’t August used to be part of summer?
