Here’s Andre 3000 As Jimi Hendrix
The André 3000-starring Jimi Hendrix biopic is just about ready, despite disapproval from the Hendrix estate. NME points to information posted on the website of the Toronto International Film Festival, where the biopic will premiere in September. Above is a photo of André 3000 as Jimi. The film, written and directed by John Ridley, is called “All Is By My Side.” It tells the story of the recording of Hendrix’s debut album “Are You Experienced.” According to the Toronto International Film Festival’s site, it also features Imogen Poots, Hayley Atwell, Ruth Negga and Adrian Lester.
