Jay-Z hit New York City’s Pace Gallery yesterday to do a six-hour performance of “Picasso Baby†for a remarkably well-behaved crowd. The footage will reportedly be turned into a music video. Nothing to say about this except: No matter how much Jay tries to morph himself into an artist, he’s still in essence an insanely wealthy rapper rapping about insanely wealthy he is. His boasts are no longer witty; they’re obscene.
