Was London In The ’80s Really So Great?
The Daily Beast gushes: ‘Fashion and clubbing are two things that have always gone hand in hand in London, so it comes as no surprise that a new exhibit at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, “Club to Catwalk: London Fashion in the 1980s,” is rich with fabulous finds.’ Sorry, but I’ve looked through the show’s images, and they remind me why, in the ’80s, I’m glad I lived in New York not London. (Wouldn’t be so quick to say that now.)
