Channing First Movie: “She’s The Man”
I plucked Channing Tatum out of the line-up, so to speak: I gave him his first magazine cover, ten years ago, when he was a male model and not a Hollywood star. His first big movie came in 2006, and it was called “She’s the Man.” Some people — including this breathless writer — are mad about it. All I can muster to say about it is that it’s cute. The flick will continue to get attention now that Chan is a big star. His latest blockbuster, “White House Down” — you know, the one whose poster has him and Jamie Foxx holding hands — comes out today.
