Nine Inch Nails Announce New Album

Apart from the Congressional retirement of Michelle Bachmann, it’s the best news of the day: Nine Inch Nails will release a new studio album, their first since 2008, sometime later this year. The recently reunited group made the announcement on Tuesday. “I’ve been less than honest about what I’ve really been up to lately,” frontman Trent Reznor said in a statement. “For the last year I’ve been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. Reznor has been busy since he ended NIN in 2009, contributing unforgettable scores to “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” and winning an Oscar for his work on “The Social Network,” along with Ross.
