Your Weekend: LemonWade Recommends

Movies: Go see “The Hangover 9” or “Fast and Furious 17” if you must, but only one movie commands my eyeballs this weekend: “Before Midnight.” Television: Miss Audra has a concert on Friday, and her Broadway world as rendered in semi-fiction, on “Smash,” has a series finale on Sunday. I’ll be taping “Smash” not only to ff through the ads but so I can watch the weekend’s must-see TV, “Behind the Candelabra,” about Liberace, on HBO. Also worth noting: new “Arrested Development” episodes. Music: This weekend, I’m just listening to classical: starting with the String Quartets of Ravel. Books: Rick Atkinson’s “The Guns at Last Light” may celebrate the Allies’ liberation of Europe in 1944-45, but Mary Louise Roberts’ “What Soldiers Do” chronicles the dark side — rape — perpetrated by the GIs in France. Sports: The French Open starts on Sunday without Andy Murray. No matter: who can beat Nadal? Finally: Here’s how to help Oklahoma tornado victims.
