Will A&E’s New Serial-Killer Drama Based On Danish Source Be Better Than “The Killing”?
The third season of AMC’s “The Killing” premieres on June 2nd. But this American program is much inferior to the Danish series on which it is based. Will the program just announced for the A&E network also prove inferior to its Danish original? I’m talking about “Those Who Kill.” Based on a Danish format inspired by the books of Elsebeth Egholm, it will star Chloë Sevigny (pictured) and James D’Arcy. The duo play a detective and forensic psychiatrist, respectively, who work together to track down serial killers — and investigate the ongoing mystery of Sevigny’s character’s stepfather, whom she believes to be a killer as well. Production will begin in the autumn.
