Television: Sunday-Night Scorecard
Call the Midwife: A welcome return from this program about midwives in east London in the 1950s. Best part: a birth aboard a cargo ship. Grade: A-. The Good Wife: Finally! An episode with the incomparable Christine Baranski at its core. But does she have to have her hair blasted into place even when she’s not at work? Grade: B+. The Walking Dead: On the season finale, two characters were dispatched, and one of them was my favorite. Argh! Grade: B-. Game of Thrones (pictured): Was it worth the wait? For the nipple segment, yes; for the re-establishing of plot, no. Grade: B.
