Scientists Go Inside The Virtual Brain
Anyone with half a brain knows that nature — whether on Earth or throughout the Universe — gives us visuals more wondrous than anything hatched by individual artists. Both halves of the brain are compelling to Henry Markram, the scientist whose team has been working in Switzerland on a virtual brain called Blue Brain. It is a tangled web of nearly 10,000 neurons. The colors represent the neurons’ electric voltage at a specific moment.
