I think sometimes the residents of Portland, Oregon must get drunk out of fury that Brooklyn has replaced them as top dog in the annals of Global Hipsterism. But there are signs that, in the media battle for supremacy, Portland is gaining ground. I’m not just talking about IFC’s “Portlandia” but about this new trailer for the upcoming “The Real World: Portland.” You know everyone’s just going to get drunk and scream at each other, but at least they’ll get drunk on Pacific Northwest craft IPAs and artisanal cocktails.
